Jamie Kuettel, PT, DPT, EdD, NCS, GCS

Jamie Kuettel, PT, DPT, EdD, NCS, GCS is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and a dual board-certified clinical specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Geriatric Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Medicine from the University of Arizona, her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University, and completed a neurologic physical therapy residency through Northern Arizona University and HonorHealth. Dr. Kuettel also holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from A.T. Still University College of Graduate Health Sciences. Dr. Kuettel maintains contemporary clinical expertise by remaining actively involved in outpatient neurologic and geriatric physical therapy practice. She began her career in outpatient neurologic rehabilitation and continues to practice PRN across hospital-based and private practice settings, including outpatient neurologic rehabilitation and specialized care for older adults with sarcopenia. Her clinical interests include vestibular and balance disorders, neurologic outcome measurement, complex patient management, and evidence-informed clinical decision-making. Dr. Kuettel has delivered vestibular rehabilitation continuing education for practicing clinicians. She is recognized for her scholarly contributions to neurorehabilitation and clinical measurement, including peer-reviewed publications and multiple national presentations at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting. In addition to her academic and clinical work, Dr. Kuettel is highly engaged in professional service and advocacy. She has served in leadership roles within the Arizona Physical Therapy Association and the Arizona Chapter of the APTA House of Delegates, participated in federal advocacy efforts, contributed to national education and documentation and advocacy workgroups, and served as an item writer for the National Physical Therapy Examination.
